ANO VIANNOS PERAMA AND SPILI HEALTHCARE FACILITIES
This project encompasses the comprehensive refurbishment of three key healthcare facilities in Crete, aimed at enhancing primary healthcare services for their respective communities.
The Health Center of Ano Viannos, located in the village of Ano Viannos within the municipality of Viannos, serves a population of 5,533 residents. Built in 1985, this facility includes a ground floor with clinics, waiting rooms, and circulation areas, as well as a basement for auxiliary functions such as machinery rooms, storage, and a boiler room. The total area of the land is 912.40 m², and the usable surface area of the existing building is approximately 950.00 m².
The Health Center of Perama, situated in the village of Perama within the municipality of Mylopotamos, serves a larger population of 24,684 individuals. This two-story facility, also constructed in 1985, features a basement and is equipped with an access elevator. The building covers an area of approximately 1,200 m², as per the building permit, excluding the basement.
Meanwhile, the Health Center of Spili is located in the village of Spili in the municipality of Agios Vasileios, catering to a population of 20,846. This two-story structure, built in 1985, does not have a basement but features an access elevator. The total area of the land is 2,848.91 m², with the existing building’s total area being around 1,085 m².
JEPA is actively involved in the detailed design and planning phase for the refurbishment of these health centers, focusing on modernizing the facilities to meet current healthcare standards. The goal is to create efficient and accessible healthcare environments that significantly enhance the quality of service provided to the communities, ultimately supporting the health and well-being of the local populations. Through this initiative, the project aims to establish each health center as a pivotal resource in promoting better health outcomes in the region.
