ANATOLIA COLLEGE NEW IB BUILDING
The Kassandra Center for Educational Excellence / IB Diploma Programme is a new building project by Anatolia College. Spanning approximately 2,350 m², this three-story facility will provide essential functions and common areas, enhancing the educational experience. Located on the Lyceum side of Anatolia College (formerly known as “Arenon”), the project involves demolishing the outdated Ladas building and upgrading the historic Compton Hall. The New Wing will feature 14 classrooms, six state-of-the-art laboratories, study rooms, a multi-purpose room, and all necessary common areas, including the Kassandra Center.
The design emphasizes flexibility and harmony with the natural environment, aiming for a blend of modernity and timelessness. Key features include abundant natural light, transparency, and a focus on ergonomics and participation. JEPA is responsible for the detailed design and supervision of the MEP installations, ensuring high standards of sustainability and energy efficiency. This project will increase the capacity of the Anatolia College IBDP from 160 to 240 students and is committed to optimizing thermal comfort, air quality, and overall functionality while utilizing environmentally friendly materials and energy-saving systems.
